Boehringer Ingelheim’s independent and competitive grant process involves a publicly posted announcement of our interest in receiving applications for specific types of funding projects via Requests for Proposal (RFPs). Organizations are invited to complete an online application in our funding portal, Lectrona, following the grant process (link to Grant Process page) and submit a 5-page maximum Executive Summary of the proposal.
Responses will be evaluated based on factors including alignment to the area of interest, the potential to demonstrate scalable, sustainable impact on healthcare and patient outcomes, as well as efficient use of funds. Eligible applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. When submitting the Executive Summary, budgets may be simplified to denote costs as single line items. Detailed, itemized comprehensive budgets are required if invited to submit a full proposal.
Boehringer Ingelheim will not be involved in any aspect of project development nor the conduct or execution of the initiative.
